Annamarie Kershaw is the President of Kershaw Financial Services, Inc. She is an Enrolled Agent* licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. She holds Series 6 (Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Representative) and 63 (Uniform Securities Agent) security licenses as well as a New York State Life, Accident, Health, Variable Life/Variable Annuities license.
Annamarie began her own business in 1986 providing tax preparation and business accounting services. She has grown the business by caring about doing the absolute best job for each client, whether it is a business or an individual.
In 1998, she saw the need to coordinate her client’s tax planning needs with their investment needs. She became associated with Avantax (a company in business since 1983), which provides her and her clients with access to wide range of additional resources and expertise.
Many of her clients rely on her for both tax preparation and advice as well as investment guidance.
Annamarie likes to teach and holds annual seminars geared specifically towards the financial concerns of women and young adults. In addition, she teaches and mentors other business owners through her position as Chapter Director for Avantax.
Outside of work, Ann enjoys spending time with her husband Kirk, their Tibetan Spaniel "Rascal” and her family, especially their new granddaughter. She also enjoys playing tennis, traveling, quilting and just relaxing at the beach.
